How to Log Out of Instagram

Logging out of Instagram is crucial for maintaining the security and privacy of your account. By logging out, you prevent unauthorized access to your account, especially on shared devices or public networks.

To log out of Instagram, go to your profile page and tap on the three horizontal lines in the top right corner. Scroll down and select Settings at the bottom. From the settings menu, scroll down again and choose Log Out to successfully log out of your account.

Instagram allows you to be logged in on multiple devices at the same time. However, if you wish to log out of Instagram on a specific device, you can do so by following the steps mentioned earlier to ensure your accounts security.

If you forget to log out of Instagram on a public computer or someone elses device, you can remotely log out from all active sessions. Go to your Instagram settings, select Security, and then choose Log out of all sessions to ensure that your account is secure.

Unfortunately, Instagram does not currently offer an automatic log out feature based on inactivity. It is recommended to manually log out of your account after each use, especially on shared devices, to prevent unauthorized access.
